Best Rated Battery Powered Leaf Blower

It is by far the best time of year to look for the best deals on next year’s battery powered leaf blower.  Given they are not in season, there are some great deals to be found and being able to find the leaf blower you want on the shelves is a lot easier than in, say, October.  Also, no one wants to be fighting with a power cord when they are out blowing their leaves. We’ve all done it because they’re cheaper, but man, what a pain. Battery powered leaf blowers give us the ease and convenience of blowing them however, and wherever we want to go without worrying how far from the house we can stray.

We have reviewed the top 5 best rated battery powered leaf blowers available and here they are for your consideration.

Black & Decker LSWV36

Black & Decker brings a nice 40 volt battery powered leaf blower to our top five. With blowing speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, this Black & Decker blower will keep your driveway and patio clean and clear with minimal effort.

One of our other favorite features of the Black & Decker LSWV36 is that not only can it blow leaves, but a flip of a switch turns the machine into vacuum mode to suck and mulch dried leaves.  Significantly reduce the volume of leaves in your yard by reducing them by up to 6 times with the mulch feature.

Ryobi One+ Cordless Jet Fan Leaf Blower

Made by Ryobi, the One+ leaf blower brings more flexibility and versatility to your shed.  Designed to be compatible with other 18 volt Ryobi tools, this 100 mile per hour leaf blower offers variable speeds to make it easier to control just how far you send those leaves.

The last feature we enjoy about this particular model is the included debris scraper.  Sometimes there can be dirt, oil, or who knows whatever else hiding underneath the leaves in our drive, and the debris scraper allows for a little extra cleaning whenever necessary.

Worx Turbine 56V Cordless Blower

Certainly not as popular a name as Black & Decker or Ryobi, but Worx makes a great third entry into our top 5 with their 56 volt cordless leaf blower.  Its turbine fan technology gives your leaf blower more power with blowing speeds of up to 125 miles per hour.

Other benefits of the Worx Turbine 56V is that it is also ergonomically designed.  Weighing only 8 pounds with a scientific balance, the Turbine 56V is engineered to be easy to use and prevent fatigue on larger areas.

Lastly, like the Ryobi, the Worx offers variable blower speeds to give you as much control as possible for where your leaves, dirt, and debris end up.  If you’re not grateful for that feature, your neighbors certainly will be.

DEWALT DCBL720P1 20V MAX 5.0

Coming in at a solid number two is the Dewalt DCBL720P1 20 volt leaf blower.  One of the unique features of the Dewalt model that causes it to jump some of the competition is its brushless motor.  What that means to you is that it has an increase in durability and efficiency. Not only are you getting more power for less voltage, but your motor will last longer and keep you from running out to purchase another blower in a couple of seasons.

Also, the Dewalt 20 volt rechargable battery is interchangeable with any number of Dewalt 20 volt tools, so if you already have a number of yellow and black tools in your shed, I would recommend sticking with the Dewalt products and maximizing your personal efficiency.
